To be lighter or To be darker.....

So my recent visit to The Body shop

for a body fix has left me mesmerized at the new found development in foundation and skin matching at The Body Shop. Their foundation is available in 16 nature inspired shades and now can be modified with shade adjusters to match your skin tone perfectly. here's a mini review on their foundation and the shade adjusters. I will be adding a follow up personal pic review later next week.

Fresh Nude Foundation

Makeup and looking fabulous every day should be a  easy and painless. according to The Body Shop their  Fresh Nude Foundation, enriched with English rose water and aloe vera, this hydrating formula leaves skin feeling beautifully fresh and comfortable all day. It also contains SPF 15 to help protect your skin. With a semi-matte finish, each of these 16 nature-inspired shades mimics the look of fresh-faced natural skin with a nude glow. SHADE ADJUSTING DROPS

No one likes to settle for second best, or not the perfect fit.... now The Body Shop has launched their Shade Adjusting Drops help turn an almost there foundation into the perfect one.This is their review from their website....

LIGHTENING DROPS

If you have light to medium skin you may find your foundation looks too dark or orange. A concentration of white and pink pigments in our Lightening Drops helps neutralise yellowness while lightening. Simply add a drop to lighten light to medium shades.• For use with light to medium foundation shades• Transform an “almost right” foundation shade into the perfect one• 1 drop = ½ a shade lighter• Works with most liquid foundations

DARKENING DROPSIf you have dark to deep skin you may find your foundation looks too light or ashy. A concentration of black and red pigments in our Darkening Drops helps darken while keeping the natural depth. Simply add a drop to darken dark to deep foundation shades.
