Taking a bath in LUX-ury

I was selected to test and review the new LUX Even-Tone beauty bar with 9 of my friends. On opening the package the scent alone had me in aww. They came with a cute name tag to attach to each beauty bar that you could personalize to each friend, which gave it that extra touch of care and love.

I'm all for self-love, self-care and self-appreciation, and if you read any of my journal entries you would know. This was an opportunity to embrace the self-care and self-love and also share it amongst others who needed a time out and some self-TLC to recharge and reboot.

My review initially on the Rubybox site was:

The LUX Even- Tone beauty bar, is truly a bath with luxury. It has a high foam rate which is perfect for a soothing bath and the scent lingers in the air and on the body for hours. it leaves the skin soft and smooth to the touch for hours, and does not dry out the skin at all, like other scented soap bars. I have enjoyed LUX soap bars but this one has so many elements in one bar that I just love.

But now...

I'd like to go into detail to give you added insight on my LUX-urious experience.

1. Have you noticed that your skin is more even-toned after using LUX Even-Tone Beauty Bar?

My skin has shown visible signs of even skin-tone especially on my arms and legs, that are exposed to the sun on a daily basis.

2. Does your skin glow after using LUX Even-Tone Beauty Bar?

My skin has developed a natural glow and it is visible to the naked eye

3. Is your skin more moisturized after using LUX Even-Tone Beauty Bar?

I generally have very dry skin and tend to need more moisturizers than normal, I tend to look ashy and dry . I use a tissue oil and a body lotion twice a day to lock in moisture. The Lux Even-Tone Beauty Bar has kept my skin from looking ashy after a shower but never the less I still require more moisture than normal.

4. Did you enjoy the luxurious packaging of the LUX Even-Tone Beauty Bars?

The packaging is a high end gloss and has enough details to intrigue the mind but I feel the graphics and simple flowery print is common to LUX, I would have preferred a more rich and elegant feel to the graphics.

6. Is LUX Even-Tone a staple in your daily beauty routine?

LUX- Even-tone has become my daily soap bar in my household which my family and I use it twice a day. The scent and visible results just keep you coming back for more.
