Buttery Indulgence

I received the Nivea Radiant & Beauty Advanced Care Body Lotion from Rubybox, around 2 weeks ago. I the package was 5 full sized body lotions for me and 4 friends to try out and give feedback on our experience. (FYI, the fact that it was full sized, just proves they serious about testing the product to the max). The Body lotion was a 2 in 1, it was a nourishing moisturizer, that reduces stretchmarks and evens skin tone, like a tissue oil would. that sold me alone, 1 product to solve my every skin problems.

"At first sight, the packaging gives off the feeling of indulgence. The scent is absolutely amazing and the texture is thick and buttery." My first review just based on the sight and scent only.

Unfortunately I personally was unable to put the Body lotion to the test, as it contains Olive oils and I am allergic to olives and olive oil, which was totally disappointing. I so looked forward to trying out this lotion, because it would solve my stretchmarks, my uneven skin tone and moisturize my skin for up to 48 hours, which is exactly what I need. So, I had to let my friends put the Nivea Radiant & Beauty Advanced Care Body lotion to the test and give me feedback.

Here's a review based on the feedback I received:

1. How your skin feels (48h nourishment; visibly radiant & even-tone skin)

All their skin showed signs of visible nourishment, especially on those ashy elbows and knees and dry heels. Their skin looked glistering from the moisture and over the 2 weeks it became more visible, that their skin was getting a radiant glow, that was not there before. The sun tan marks on one friend in particular began to fade. Another suffered from strawberry legs, her legs began to look even-toned and attractive.

2. What you loved most about the product (SPF, oils, scent)

The scent of the oils don't over power the luxury scent of the body lotion. I do feel for SA's climate the SPF is not enough, and one still needs to put additional SPF on areas exposed to the sun, e.g. your arms when driving.

3. What you thought of the packaging (colors; fragrance; look and feel)

The packaging at first sight gives the feel of luxury and warmth, especially from the gold and bronze shades. The highlighting of the 5 vitamins and oils, allures one's attention to read more into their benefits. The fragrance is amazing, it was inviting, and screams "USE ME". I love the fact that the body lotion is thick and has this buttery sense to it. In my opinion, when a lotion has thickness and a buttery feel just tells me its quality and is going to do the job its intended to.

4. Have you noticed a difference in your skin after using it for 2 weeks?

On every single friend who has used it, I have seen a visible change in their skin condition, although I wish I could have the same for myself.

5. And let us know if you would buy it again?

The Nivea Radiant & Beauty Body Lotion retails at R72,99 at Dis-chem. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing it, I will continue using Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Lotion, but 2 friends have already made a second purchase.

Overall I love Nivea Body Lotions, they are quality and moisture is guaranteed.

xoxo
