The 2020 load-shedding

What is perfection?
What perfection are we searching for in our lives?
Are we constantly look for social media approval on every platform?
Are we seeking quantity over quality?

We all run like headless chicken after numbers that we actually forget to live for the happy moments, we pretend to live a life of glitz, glamour and fame on social media. We sit in constant delusion about perfection and idealistic ways and not accepting our lives and ourselves as they are.

Social media was created around the illusion of being a happy place, where you could be anyone you desired, but today when we look at it, its a battlefield where people are waiting like vultures to attack at you and rip you apart, in a split second.

We put hard work and years of hardship into perfecting skill and producing note worthy work but it is often forgotten, put under negative scrutiny and judged. we often forget that we are humans at the end of the day.

As humans we are imperfect!

Things I have learnt from this year:

  1. I can live in tank tops and short and I don't have to wear makeup or dress up to go out.

  2. Clothes and fashion trends are overrated

  3. Things we took for granted, someone is praying for, pray for the people in the world and be grateful for what you have, and the people in your life

  4. Having a hobby can save yourself in this cold world

  5. My home is the most relaxing and tranquil place in the world

  6. Having a shelter and 3 meals a day is a blessing and makes me the richest person in the world.

  7. Its perfectly OK if your mind is on "SLEEP MODE" for a few weeks.

  8. Mental health is pure gold, the world can take a hike

  9. If you do not like someone put a mask on them, of that doesn't work level up and put a shield on.

  10. Every year I stepped out to LIVE, this year I stayed in and LIVED THE BEST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE.

This year has thought me not to have high hopes for 2021, but to live my best life coz sanitizer taste good with everything.

xoxo
