My everyday essence review

Essence quality: love at 1st try!

One thing we really love about essence is, that it is lots of fun for little money. you may wonder: if it’s so cheap – can it be of great quality?

Now, here is the cool thing: yes! in fact quality really matters to essence.

1 - BYE - BYE Panda Eyes

Essence's mascaras are probably the best drugstore products ever. The Bye-Bye Panda Eyes mascara is pure black and they can make your eyelashes look voluminous and long with just a few swipes. Honestly, I love it, more and more each time. Probably because whenever I apply the I don't land up with rings round my eyes, since it's smudge proof or struggle to remove it at night.

2 - #Lash of the day Super volume Mascara

At first I fell in love with this mascara. However, I realized that I loved the volume but needed it to have an extra popping length to complete my look, especially for the upper lashes. During the application my eye make up inevitably gets smudged. It's such a pain! This is just a personal opinion: this mascara worked but I needed more, so I use the two mascaras together to create my ultimate lash look. One mascara may work for you and be enough but it just was not for me . Aside from this downside, it is a good product that can give your lashes an incredible volume!

5 - EYELINER

The brush...

A soft thin brush, not the sponge I personally don't like those.

This liquid eyeliner comes out very handy, since it is small and I can keep it in my handbag. It is waterproof and the brush makes it easy to apply and build the line you like. Honestly, I don't really like the sponge tips, maybe it's cause I cannot control the build on the liner or create a smooth wing, but it is my personal opinion. It does not smudges off too easily, even if you touch it or mistakenly rub your eyes. Furthermore, it is precise, I can trace a perfect winged eyeliner with this, because of the shape of the brush.

11 - EYE PENCIL

While looking for a long lasting black eye pencil, I came across this one, called "Black Fever". They were so many good reviews about this one, and I am glad I read them! I AM IN LOVE with this "Extreme Lasting" product! Once applied, it stays on all day long, without smudging too much. The color is very pigmented, and the texture is soft and creamy.

Here is a photo of my daily essence look. I don't do more than this every day unless its an occasion to dress up. I keep my skin natural and fresh with no added extras. the most extra ordinary I would do is add an additional color liner to accentuate the outer wing area.

The essence range is extra ordinary and I am truly in love with it and they will always remain as part of my daily must-haves, ride or die.
