My color story with Schwarzkopf Palette Deluxe Part 1

My color ventures began approximately 12 years ago, I have always chosen between the browns and blondes and blended them together. At times adding a touch of pinks, reds or purple for the added extra effect.

Hair Color is a way of expressing myself, I use it as an accessory to my fashion style.

It's been a long while since I have had dark brown hair or anything close to my natural hair color. So... Here's a few color variations I have had thus far.

In the past 10 years my hair has always been light brown or blonde or a combination of the 2. As we can see in the pictures.

I been chosen to try out the new Schwarzkopf Palette Deluxe oil-care color. This is new to me, I have never done home box color before, salon color has never failed me in all the years. So I'm up for the challenge and can't wait to see the results.

My first attempt at D.I.Y box color dye, must say my nerves were shot at the thought but I was challenged to give it a try...

I opted for a more natural look, back to my origins, without loosing my head around the new shade and chose a 3-65 Chocolate brown.

Scent :Subtle scent in comparison to salon dye

Packaging : Pretty easy and simple, but the application bottle does leave for wastage.

Formula : Enriched with 7 oils

BEFORE

Results :At first I was shocked, I wasn't ready for the dark look just yet, but I was amazed, my hair has a monochrome cocoa brown, my blonde highlights have been transformed to a caramel brown. I love the low light and highlight look in my hair at the moment. I applied the treatment conditioner, my hair felt silky smooth and instantly healthy once it was washed, normally after a salon treatment, you need to give your hair extra TLC so it doesn't frizz up..

AFTER

The Schwarzkopf Deluxe Oil Care Color palette has out shined, in my books after the first use. Although after 12 weeks the ends of my hair dried out and looked frizzed and frail. I had oil and hair color treated but it seemed the Hair dye had left my ends damaged.

I love the color and the subtle scent and the way it had worked and made my hair look at first but the results do not last, which is disappointing.

Thank you Beauty Bulletin & Schwarzkopf SA for the opportunity but I will have to rethink before using the The Schwarzkopf Deluxe Oil Care Color palette again, if it continues to dry out my ends.
