Since a young age I have learnt to be independent and focused on my studies and build a career for myself. I have worked towards my career and become independent and financial stable. In the past 3 years alot has changed, I been a wife for over a year now and a mother for 8 months.

Life really takes a turn when you get married but it turns on its head when you become a mother. The 2 years have been a venture and a learning curve of its own, there were no manuals, instructions or even assistance from a life/ family coach or family. Becoming the perfect wifey material, a mother and still staying on top of my career game and holding onto my independence was the most challenging task I have ever done thus far. I had to suit up and learn on my own while I journeyed through the kitchen, home, workplace and more. Learning to own my space and own my titles. At times, I feel like I'm going to fall over, suffocated or like I'm loosing my marbles. But when you sit down to the peace and quiet with a cup of tea in hand, I can't help but smile and enjoy the new madness and look forward to it each day. This series of blogs is an open journal on my journey to being me in my new space, my new mindset and my metamorphosis from who I was to who I am now and who I'm aiming to be. Join in my venture and feel free to share your experiences, advice or hacks and ideas with me in the comments. xoxo Miss Wiss
